2015

Hora do habitual post de fim de ano, antes que o dia acabe.
Já escrevi aqui e noutros sítios sobre o tipo de ano que tive e sobre tudo o que aconteceu, por isso, prefiro agradecer a quem esteve presente nas horas mais complicadas, família, amigos, e mesmo desconhecidos, que se prestaram a ajudar quando eu precisei.

Queria agradecer também a quem esteve comigo nas convenções em que estive presente, dum lado e do outro das mesas. É provável que o próximo ano seja mais dedicado a estar à frente dum estirador a trabalhar e menos a viajar, mas nunca se sabe. O post que fiz há um ano atrás sobre o ano que me esperava falhou redondamente, por isso, vamos improvisando conforme o que 2016 trouxer.

Falando do que me espera, 2016 começará com trabalho em dois projectos, ilustrados abaixo. O primeiro livro do meu Hanuram e New Brooklyn, o universo criado com Vito Delsante, Dean Haspiel, Shamus Beyale e Seth Kushner, que irá ser lançado a partir da próxima Primavera.

Abaixo fica a última coisa que desenhei em 2015, uma prancha de Hanuram do livro que vem aí.

Nada mais a dizer.

Vamos fechar este ano e preparar coisas melhores para 2016.

Time for the obligatory end of the year post, before the day ends.

I've already written here and elsewhere about how this year has gone down and all that happened, so I prefer to use this post to thank everyone who was there in the worse times, family, friends, and even strangers, who were kind enough to help out when I needed most.

I'd also like to thank to everyone who met me at the conventions I attended, on both sides of the tables. Next year will probably be spent more on the drawing table than travelling, but you never know. The post I wrote this time last year about the expectations for the year ahead failed spectacularly, so, this time, we'lll wing it as 2016 unfolds.

Speaking about what's coming, 2016 will start with work on two projects, showcased below. The first book from Hanuram and New Brooklyn, the universe created with Vito Delsante, Dean Haspiel, Shamus Beyale and Seth Kushner, to be launched next Spring.

Also below is the last thing I drew in 2015, a Hanuram page from the upcoming book.

Let's wrap this year and bring on bigger and better things in 2016.
